Taking your Business Solar

Advantages & Rebates

The Renewable Energy Target is an Australian Government scheme designed to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases in the electricity market and encourage the generation of electricity from sustainable and renewable sources

These incentives are managed under the Small-scale (S.T.C.s) & Large-scale (L.G.C.s) Renewable Energy Schemes. Residential Solar installations are covered by the small-scale scheme, which provides an upfront discount on the cost of a solar installation.

The Solar for Business Program is a new initiative designed to support Victorian small businesses to reduce their energy costs by accessing the benefits of renewable energy

      Our Approach

      Thorough Evaluation

Before beginning the installation, our experts inspect the area for installation and evaluate your current electrical system, ensuring everything is compatible with your intended solar power system.

      Mount Installation

First, we fix the mounts that will support the Solar Panels. It can be Roof-ground mounts or flush mounts, depending on the requirement. This base structure provides support and sturdiness. We carefully analyze the direction for installing P.V. panels (monocrystalline or polycrystalline).

      Installation of Solar Panels

Next, we fix the solar panels with the mounting structure by tightening nuts and bolts. The whole system is appropriately secured to be sturdy and lasts long.

      Electrical Wiring

The next step is to do the electrical wiring. Universal Connectors are used during wiring because these connectors can be connected with all types of solar panels. Depending on the need, these panels can be electrically connected in series or parallel.

      Connecting system to Solar Inverter

The next step is to connect the system to a solar inverter. The solar inverter is connected to the Solar Battery and Grid input to produce electricity.

Connecting Solar Inverter & Solar Battery

The next step is to connect the solar inverter and the solar battery. The battery's positive terminal is coupled to the positive terminal of the inverter and negative to negative. The battery is needed in an off-grid solar system to store electricity backup.

Connecting Solar Inverter to the Grid

The next step is to connect the inverter to the grid. A standard plug is used to connect to the main power switchboard to make this connection. An output wire is coupled with an electric board that supplies electricity to the home. Now, when all the electrical wiring and connections are made, it is time to start the inverter switch on your workspace's Main Switch.

      Our Approach

      Our Promise

We consult and cater to your power needs based on budget, home size, and power usage and analyze your space for each type of system available, e.g., on-grid, hybrid, off-grid plus battery storage options. We ensure strict quality controls with a team of highly skilled and qualified installers. We support our customers for the life span of their system and offer a regular maintenance service to ensure the system is operating at optimum performance.

Considering Solar? Here are the answers to some commonly asked questions

The Going Solar team will calculate the exact amount of savings you can expect as part of your FREE quote. On average, solar power systems reduce power bills by up to 80% and eliminate completely, depending on the type and size of the installed system.

Solar panels are made from Silicon, and particular products can last at least 25 years if properly maintained. Going Solar offers premium solar products that come with a 25-year warranty.

You will only need a battery to store solar energy if you opt for an off-grid or stand-alone solar system.

Generating electricity from solar panels produces no greenhouse gases whatsoever, which helps to reduce the effect of climate change. When solar energy is powering a home or business, there is no burning of fuel and no emissions from energy production.

North-facing panels are the ideal position for generating power consistently throughout the day. East facing panels result in most of your power generation produced in the mornings. West-facing panels capture the afternoon sun.

Rooftop solar systems can be installed on most commercial, industrial, warehouse, retail, and agricultural facilities. Your roof will be reviewed for suitability before finalizing a system plan.

The factors that impact expected output are the layout for your building roof, system size, and how the panels are oriented toward the sun. Your energy demand and your local utility rates are just some of the factors that will determine your total savings.

Any excess electricity you generate may be helpful to others in your community; bi-directional meters are installed to allow for Net Metering. Net Metering is the process of providing a credit for any excess electricity your business' solar power system produces and delivers to the power grid.

The interconnection switch separates the solar panel system from the electric grid. It cannot be activated until your local utility company authorizes the contractor that the electric meter is set up for Net Metering.

Technically speaking, yes, if batteries are used. But practically, if grid power is available, it is recommended to use solar in combination with the grid.
